Web 51 - Download

The Web51 system is distributed under two licenses. First, it is the GNU General Public License that covers the entire project except the libk library. Licensing details are in the FAQ. Source code that includes libk can be ordered here together with the HW development KIT.

Source code - free download

The entire GNU GPL version of the development system is split into two parts - BINxx contains executable (.EXE) files, GNUxx contains the development system itself (source, scripts, libraries, ...).

The BINxx part is available for two platforms - DOS32/Windows/... and Linux, both for Intel x86 compatible processors.
The GNUxx package is the same for both platforms, only the archive type differs (RAR / tar+gzip).

Web51 licensing strategy
We, the authors of the Web51 system, offer the following two versions:

Free version - web51_licence_free.pdf
Covered by GNU GPL, available for download free of charge from http://web51.hw-server.com including source codes. However, some subroutines (such as RTL8019 control) are inside a library that is distributed in binary form only. Available are several versions of the library, differing by the configured number of simultaneous TCP connections supported.

Commercial version - web51_licence_commercial.pdf
Includes all source codes of the project. It is not limited by GNU GPL. It is distributed together with our development system (our own assembler and linker). Available for purchase with the HW kit or separately.

Useful utilities

RD2 Flasher
PC software for programming RD2 CPU by ISP interface throught RS232 - similar to FLIP ISP programmer from the Atmel. Our RD2 Flasher is command line Win32 native application, configurable by parameters. It's useful for integration into the various GUI or the development systems.
More the RD2 Flasher in cooperation with the modified loader in RD2 CPU is available to programming internal EEPROM! You can download the source code for the Flasher and .hex version of the loader in the file rd2f_23.zip (200 kB).
